This setting focuses this phase of a couple’s life immersed in the bucolic vineyards of Napa Valley. The site is divided into foreground, middle ground and background layers. By purposely creating a zen - blank slate middle ground, one’s eyes gets drawn to the horizon beyond of geometric vineyards and ancient olive trees. The area closest to the house is the high use lawn carpet for visiting grandkids, and a fireplace lounge with a jumbo awning & quaint umbrellas to filter the late afternoon summer sun.
