IMW designed the landscape remodel surrounding the new deli. This included the new Olive Orchard (to replace the fallen valley oaks), the arbor path extension, circular fountain plaza, rectangular fountain plaza and the back (south) private tasting patio. The design morphed and adapted throughout the time lapse of 5 years. I inherited a master plan from an LA firm from out of state and worked with the client to develop a vision that transitioned smoothly to the historic pathways and fountains adjacent to the winery. Working through various architectural concepts that just stayed in the drawing boards, long delays with permitting, COVID, and two century old valley oaks that collapsed, the project finally was completed on easter 2026. I am proud of achieving our goal to elegantly transition between the old with the new.
